Fire Lt. Steven Velazquez and Firefighter Michael Baik of Bridgeport Fire Department was killed in the line of duty Saturday afternoon at a house fire in Bridgeport Conn,

Lt Velazquez was a career firefighter for Prince George's County Fire Department in 1990 and was assigned to Kentland Station 33 until he became a firefighter in Bridgeport in the mid 90's

According to a spokesperson for Bridgeport Fire Department Firefighter Baik has only been a firefighter for Bridgeport for two years

Deputy Fire Chief Robert Petrucelli says the two men were found unconscious on the third floor of the three-story house after the fire was extinguished. Petrucelli says they were taken to hospitals and later pronounced dead.
